Timber Industry Road Evaluation Study |

The 2011 Timber Industry Road Evaluation Study (TIRES) has now been released. The study is a joint collaboration from local government, Regional Development Victoria, Department of Transport, VicRoads, Department of Primary Industries, VicForests and HVP Plantations. Key findings include: - 330 roads listed for upgrade across Victoria
- These roads will cart 41.3 million tonnes of logs during 2011 - 2015
- The total cost of works required to upgrade the roads is $95.6 million.
